Get to know Holly Fernandez, Otisville Branch Manager:
Holly joined our team as Otisville branch manager in September of 2021. She came to us from Hudson Valley Credit Union with 27 years of experience in the banking industry. Holly began her banking journey as a part time teller while she was in college. She really enjoyed the work she was doing at the time and committed to building her skills in banking. Over her 27 years she became knowledgeable in business development, sales and operations, training, commercial and consumer underwriting, credit rebuilding, auditing, and more. Networking and customer service are important to Holly, and it is one of the reasons why she loves working at Wallkill Valley Federal Savings and Loan. She finds it rewarding to be a part of an organization that is community and family oriented, not only to their customers, but to their employees too.
What does Holly love about working in the Otisville community?
“I love the close-knit sense of community. The people in this town are all about helping each other and have made my experiences here in Otisville memorable. This town reminds me of my earlier days in banking, giving me that family home bank feeling. I must say that I also have an amazing team of girls, Estefania and Amy, which have really made me proud and has been an honor to work with and befriend.”
