WVFS&L’s Statement Money Market Account is an interest bearing savings account that gives you check writing ability as well as internet banking accessibility and telephone banking accessibility.
We offer two types of Money Market Accounts:
Statement Money Market Savings
You can open a Statement Money Market Account with as little as $100. The more you save, the more you earn as interest rates are tiered to reward higher balances. A minimum balance of $2,500 helps you avoid the monthly service fee of $10*. Funds can be easily transferred between deposit accounts.
Additional features of the Statement Money Market Savings Include:
- Interest is compounded continuously and credited monthly**
- If you need a check, we’ll be happy to print one for you at no extra charge.
- Regulation D* Transaction Limitations: There is a limit of 6 electronic withdrawals or transfers are limited to a total of six (6) per month. Withdrawals and transfers made in person or by mail are unlimited.
*If you maintain a combined daily balance of $25,000 or more on selected personal deposit accounts (excluding IRA’s) throughout the month, the minimum balance fee with be waived.
**Interest will not be paid on any day that the balance falls below $100.
Premier Money Market
For those looking to save significant amounts of money and earn a higher interest rate, a Premier Money Market account may be the right fit. The more you save, the more you earn as interest rates are tiered to reward higher balances. Accounts can be opened with a deposit of $75,000. Funds can be easily transferred between deposit accounts and you receive ATM Cards, Online, Telephone Banking and Mobile banking at no extra charge. A minimum balance of $2,500 must be maintained in order to avoid the monthly service fee of $100.
Additional features are the same as the Statement Market Savings account.
