We know introductions can be a little nerve-racking, so we would like to start by introducing you all to our Milton Branch Manager, George Branagan!
Get to know George Branagan, Milton Branch Manager:
George has been serving as our Milton branch manager since 2020. He started his banking career in 2016 as a teller for Hometown Bank and joined the Wallkill Valley Federal Savings and Loan team during the merger in 2017. Before George started his banking career, he worked at ShopRite while he was in school. At ShopRite he gained experience in customer service and cash handling. These skills were the start of a solid foundation for him to build his banking career on. George loves the flexibility banking provides. With the support of upper management and his coworkers, he was able to learn from them- whether it was learning more about the banking environment or how to handle unexpected situations when they arise. He became an assistant branch manager in January of 2019 and continued to improve his skillset to become the Milton Branch Manager in October of 2020.

“I love how concerned everyone is for everyone’s well-being. It’s a close-knit, but welcoming community, and it really shows every day. Most of our customers have known each other for their entire lives. Being not from the area, I truly feel I am a part of this community.”
