We know introductions can be a little nerve-racking, so we would like to start by introducing you all to our Maybrook Branch Manager, Denise Mathelier!
Get to know Denise Mathelier, Maybrook Branch Manager:
Denise has been our Maybrook Branch Manager since its opening in December of 2014. She has extensive experience in banking, starting her banking career as a teller at The Bank of New York. She worked in various operations and customer service departments within the organization where she then became the Teller Trainer for the Hudson Valley region. Denise continued growing her banking experience with Chase Bank as an Assistant Manager at various Orange County locations, including the Maybrook location that would later become our Maybrook branch.
As the Branch Manager of our Maybrook location, Denise has the unique opportunity to work with bank staff to offer educational programs to our community. Her branch hosts our First Time Homebuyer sessions which provides prospective buyers with important information about the home buying process. Denise has also participated in educational sessions at the local Maybrook school. She taught the students in the sessions about saving, budgeting, and how to prepare for interviews. Denise loves having the opportunity to give back to the Maybrook community and is very active in all the village events. Denise was also a founding member of the Maybrook Kiwanis Club. She is very passionate about helping people and finds it to be a rewarding experience to work in the Maybrook community.
