We Support the American Heart Association – WVFSL’s Charity of the month.
February is the month of love and we can’t think of anything better than lending our support to the American Heart Association! Turns out February is also AMERICAN HEART MONTH so the timing is perfect.
Wallkill Valley Federals Savings & Loan is a long time supporter of the American Heart Association. We fully support their mission of seeing an improvement in America’s heart health. Back in 2015 we were honored to have received the Gold Achievement Award by working to create a Fit-Friendly Worksite as a result of the initiatives we put in place to help our employees pursue a healthier lifestyle. We have also provided our staff with CPR training in order to foster and safe environment for our clients, employees and ultimately the community at large.
On Friday February 2nd, we participated in National Wear Red Day to help the AHA raise awareness about heart disease being the number 1 killer among women.
