The 4th of July is a day to Let Freedom Ring as we gather to celebrate the Independence of our great nation. As a member of your community, we wanted to keep you updated on all the exciting events going on near you. We hope to see you around town!
Fireworks
- Newburgh: Cronomer Hill Park in Newburgh will be hosting fireworks on Thursday, July 2 at Dusk
- Plattekill: Thomas Felten Memorial Park in Plattekill will be hosting fireworks on Saturday, July 11 at 5 PM
- Maybrook: Thursday, July 2, 2015, 7-10 PM there will be fireworks at Frederick Meyer Veterans Memorial Park. Live Music will be provided by Hot Rod and the Maybrook Boy Scout Troup 236 Marching Band.
- Montgomery: Saturday, July 18, at 4 PM, the 2015 Orange County Salute to the Veterans at Thomas Bull Park will occur with fireworks at Dusk. ï¶ Highland: On Friday, July 3, 2015 at 6 PM, there will be fireworks in downtown Highland.
- Highland Falls: The annual 4th of July Firecracker Race will occur at 8 AM, followed by the 4th of July Parade at 2:00 PM. Fireworks and performance by the West Point Band at 8 PM at the Trophy Point Amphitheatre will follow.

- 34th Annual Great American Weekend This tradition hosted by the Goshen Chamber of Commerce hosts more than 150 arts & crafts and antiques vendors, food vendors, nonprofits, and features live music. Location: First Presbyterian Church Park, 33 Park Place, Goshen, NY
When: Saturday, July 4, 2015 – 9am-5pm Sunday, July 5, 2015 – 10am-5pm
Raindate (Saturday Only) – Sunday, July 5, 2015 - You can also take in a harness race at the Goshen Historic Track
On July 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th. Post times on each day are at 1pm. - Take in a Hudson Valley Renegades Game. Come support the Hudson Valley Renegades as they take on the Brooklyn Cyclones at Dutchess Stadium on Friday, July 3. Postgame Fireworks will follow. Location: Dutchess Stadium, 1500 Route 9D, Wappingers Falls, NY
